Stayed in Nord East hotel whilst on route to our destination in Pulglia. I was immediately impressed by the look of the reception and helpfulness of the hotel staff. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast had lots of choice and decent cappuccino!
The area in south Rimini was much nicer than the tacky English Rimini further up the coast. It was full of Italians and I didn't spot any lagar louts or hen parties.
I had never rated Rimini as a serious holiday destination before but I would love to return to hotel Nord East again and stay for longer.

Room tip: Book direct with hotel and ask for sea view.Book car park space in advance to save money

I and my husband together with friends (another couple) stayed in Nord Est Hotel for a week time in Sep 2016.
The hotel was with the greatest location – on the beach and at the same time next to all restaurants and cafes. I must say – our holiday was just above the expectations: the service was great, the breakfast was amazing (so much choice) and the staff was waiting for all the late guests to have their coffee and breakfast much longer than the breakfast hours.
Everyone was so kind and helpful than I could not wish to get better service.
Strongly recommend to book Hotel Nord Est and relax at the beautiful Adriatic beach.

Location is wonderful, it takes only couple minutes to go to the beach! Staff is really friendly and helpful. If you want to go to the city centre, it's only 20 min. away (by bus). Worth to visit if you want to spend some time by the beach and visit Rimini as well!

Stayed at the Nord Est for 1 week in late August with husband and son. We were there for an England match and were using the hotel as a base but were very pleasantly suprised. We had a triple room with sea views. The room was comfortable, clean and had plenty of storage for clothes etc, 1 large double bed and 1 single bed. The hotel had free wifi although this was intermittent! Breakfast ranged from fruit, toast and cereals to scrambled eggs and bacon, coffee, tea, fruit juice and water. There is also a bar serving coffees, alcohol and ice creams. The hotel had a games room with 2 snooker tables and a small swimming pool located on the roadside of the hotel. We didn't use the pool, why would we with the miles of sea and sandy beach to the rear of the hotel! Watersports on the beach included the 'sausage ride', pedalos and a regular boat trip up and down the coast. There were plenty of sunbeds, all chargeable and ranged from 15-30Euros for 2 beds and a parasol depending on how close to the front you were. We went on the boat trip to Cattolica,15Euros including fish and wine, it was 3 hours in all. Well worth it for the boat sail and scenary. The hotel is located on the main street with its many shops, restaurants, ice cream parlours and bars. We visited Roxy Bar a few times during our stay, the food was fantastic and hospitality wonderful! We also visited Zodiac restaurant but wasn't as impressed. San Marino is well worth a visit, approx 40 min drive and Rimini Old Town approx 20 min drive. We also visited the Waterpark, 25Euros each for the day, but I warn you the queues are long!
Rimini although a litle dated still has alot to offer and all in all the hotel Nord Est is comfortable, friendly, well located and good value for money (for what we paid). The only downside for us was the distance from Bologna airport. It's a shame we couldn't fly London to Rimini, thats the only thing that puts us off a return visit!

We stayed in hotel nord est in September for one week, I have to say the rooms were spotless and the bed which was a large double was very comfortable. The room was a bit on the small side but plenty of space in the wardrobe to put all in and we spent very little time in the room anyway. Breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, yogurt, fruit salad, ham salami etc. The staff are so friendly and helpful always happy to have a chat. I would definitely go back again. Oh and your right on the beach, great.
