“AMAZING”
Reviewed 31 July 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Six of us went on a ladies trip to the Marion Villa and had an amazing time! The pool and hot tub were amazing (especially being able to change the colors they glowed in at night) and the easy beach access was great for those of us that prefer the ocean. We were able to get to all attractions easily and Jay was awesome with helping to book cars and tell us the local must-sees. The house manager was also great and was able to answer all questions within minutes. We made quite a few epic meals in the chef's kitchen as well. One of my favorite parts of the house was being able to open the entire wall of windows and enjoy the unadultered view and fresh breeze from the bay. Will definitely try and make a trip back as soon as possible!

“A Weekend in Paradise”
Reviewed 13 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

When we arrived staff was there to greet us and show us around the villa and the manger was always available via text if we needed anything. There was a bottle of Trinidadian rum punch waiting for us in the refrigerator. The property is stunning, with a wonderful ocean view. The ultramodern house is on a small cove that is virtually private, we rarely saw anyone else on the beach, a little slice of paradise.

“A refreshingly upscale, full-service villa-addition to Tobago”
Reviewed 12 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I grew up spending summers in Tobago and had been lamenting for a while that there are few full-service, modern villas available for rent. This villa has really filled a huge gap in Tobago's accommodations market with its fully equipped chef's kitchen, uber luxurious bedding (literally the best nights' sleep I've ever had), open-air design and awesome location. I was excited when I realized how peaceful and secluded Bacolet beach is (my family members and I were literally the only people on the beach each time we went), but I was even MORE excited to realize there is a sleepy, hidden bar & cafe on the beach serving cocktails and food! Hallelujah. It's the type of place where you can literally hide out for a few days and never leave the grounds. My mother refers to it as "our vacation home" now. Ha! We got another pleasant surprise when we found 3 beautifully ripe paw paws ("papayas") hanging from one of the trees in the yard - breakfast! This is a truly special place.

Liked best: Tie between the open-air, fully equipped chef's kitchen with a clear view of the bay, and the comfy beds!

“Absolutely AMAZING Villa in an equally stunning and charming country!”
Reviewed 18 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

I fell in love with Tobago and owe most (if not all) of that to The Marion Villa, it's wonderful owner, and amazing manager!

I travelled with five friends from NYC to stay at the beautiful villa for four days. All questions, concerns, and recommendations were quickly relayed to us by both Jay (the owner) and his lovely villa manager.
We felt immediately at home and relaxed even before we had arrived!

The villa is stunning and you are met with views of Bacolet Beach and the beautiful pool the very second you enter the house. My favorite part was the easy access to the beach by a stairway directly next to the villa. During our stay the beach was mostly empty and it felt like we had booked our own private beach! There is also a great little hotel bar if you decide you want to grab a drink after your swim.

When we weren't lounging around the villa or swimming at the beach or pool, we were out on boats exploring more areas of the island. Getting around was very easy and everyone we met was so friendly and helpful!

I cannot wait until I get back to visit again and would absolutely recommend visiting Tobago and 10000% staying at the Marion Villa!

“Stunning property in a serene, magical location...and much, much more”
Reviewed 3 April 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We, a family of four stayed here for 8 nights in late February 2016, and we hope to be back next year! The three things that compel us to want to return to stay here are:-
Stunning property in a serene, magical location. Perched atop one side of a palm tree-lined, small and secluded crescent-shaped bay, The Marion Villa offers breathtaking views (visible from every part of the Villa) over the ocean and is the perfect place to relax with nature. From, the moment you step in through the Villa’s front door, everything (e.g. the floor to-ceiling windows, the low-slung furnishings, and the cleverly designed ensuite-bathrooms) is conceived to retain the focus on the jaw-dropping natural beauty outside. We spent much of our time sitting out on the pool deck/outside terrace, watching the daily cruise ship glide gently into port at 7am, the pelicans plunge for fish, and the sun set in the horizon (the Villa is eastward facing). I challenge anyone, when standing in the pool, not to be mesmerised by the waves gently breaking onto the pristine sand of the beach in the bay below. The beach’s palm trees offer great respite in the afternoon when the intensity of the sun fully floods the Villa’s pool deck/terrace, whilst the ocean is surprisingly calm for this side of the island and perfect for cooling off/swimming.

Relatively excellent value-for-money. The Marion Villa’s rates are not cheap – and that is indeed how it should be. However, when comparing The Marion Villa relative to other luxury accommodation (usually benefitting from resort facilities and amenities) we have stayed in on Tobago, we can confidently say The Marion Villa outpaces comfortably other alternatives for the sheer overall product on offer relative to the price paid.

Professional, attentive, and fast service. The Marion Villa is still virtually brand new, so unsurprisingly we experienced one or two teething problems. Crucially, however, we were very impressed at the owner’s and his local representatives’ responsiveness to the couple of minor issues we encountered.
