This is really nice place to stay. It isn't flash so it won't appeal to some people but it is affordable.

If you book directly with the resort many of the activities are free while if you use a booking site you will get a better price for the room but the activities are no longer free. So you need to decide I'd you will do those activities, which include the kayaks, the snorkeling (both off the beach and out by the reef) and the trips across to the Blue Lagoon Beach. All of those are worth the money you spend for them and we found that for our three person family getting them for free is a better deal than the discount you get by booking through someone else.

The staff were really helpful, friendly and that made it worth staying there even if you don't count anything else. But there is more:

The snorkeling off the beach is good and there is a small island between the beach and the lagoon which makes a channel that is safe for kids to play in - don't underestimate the value that not having to watch your kids every second has on your relaxation. The beach by the channel is ok but not spectacular - but they can take you across the lagoon to the Blue Lagoon Beach every afternoon and it is spectacular. The combination of a spectacular beach, a swimming channel right in front of the resort and snorkeling right of the beach is hard to beat.

The bure was a decent size, comfortable and clean. It had a bar fridge but they were having trouble with their electricity the week we were there and it never got cold enough to freeze ice cubes. The windows had screens but a couple miquitos would always find their way in so talking something to spray the room is a good idea.

The restaurant had an enormous menu containing all kinds of stuff that you wouldn't expect to order in Fiji and the specials board had a reasonable selection - the food was really good and I tried everything on the specials board at least once. We were travelling with friends and both of us had children and they made all kinds of allowances for our special requests.

The main thing to remember about the food is that the food comes out extremely slowly. When we ordered dinner when arriving at dinner time the food would come two hours later which is much too late for the kids so in the end we started ordering dinner while having lunch and the food would still come an hour after we arrived for dinner even though they knew when we would arrive. Even the last day when we had to catch the Yasawa Flyer the food took so long to come out that we needed takeaway containers so we could finish it on the boat.

I thought it was a great place to stay, the children thought it was a great place to stay and it was affordable as well. What could be better?

Vinaka Vakalevu to all of the staff who really treated us more like family throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the chef made sure to accommodate my son's food allergies. The staff helped us to plan activities including snorkeling and fishing. We are so grateful to everyone's kindness and hospitality. It was very hard to leave.

Best budget option for a private room in the area and not being on a food plan saved loads of money. The guide, Eli, must be the best in the area, he was always cheerful and went out of his way to ensure every day was filled with exactly what you wanted. The cave trip was great and we heard good things about his snorkeling trips. There is a beautiful beach about 10 mins walk but the one on the resort was perfect for a quick sunbath. The sunset walk is definitely worth it and the reefs in front of the resort are in reasonably good nick - worth a snorkel to see the giant clams for sure. Lots of hammocks and may sure you have an iced coffee. Wonderful place to relax, and their boat out there is a very good price!

We had an amazing time at Coralview, it was the highlight of our trip. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Eli was an exemplary guide, and took the extra time and effort to get us comfortable in the water (we aren't great swimmers) before showing us some beautiful corals.

The bure (beachfront) was clean and comfortable and much larger than we were expecting. It is more basic than luxurious but we didn't spend much time inside!

The food was delicious and they were able to cater to a vegan which was really nice.

The giant clams out in front of the resort are astounding, other resorts brought their guests to snorkel there.

Room Tip: The beachfront bures are quite large, probably better suited to families than a couple.
