We took a walk up here twice during our stay, a 20 minute gentle stroll from Le Courlan Spa hotel. A lovely place to sit and reflect away from the beach, it was very peaceful with an abundance of wildlife, you don’t need to be a Sir David Attenborough to appreciate it either! We saw a group of 3 pelicans (pod?!) flying low over the sea, how cool is that? plus countless other birds (sorry, my knowledge of various species is virtually nonexistent!) all beautiful none the less. However the highlight was seeing a little hummingbird (yes! Knew this one!) hovering by a flower, felt such a privilege to observe...
No entrance fee to pay, it has lovely views over the sea with benches scattered around to sit on and access to a quiet beach (we came out of season so can’t vouch for the quietness during peak!)
Definitely worth a wander if you’re in the vicinity

We walked here from our hotel which was very pleasant. The site is kept very clean and tidy, but there is not much here. There are good views of the bay's in both directions but very little else.

A quiet spot with good views to both bays. Hummingbirds, Bananaquits and Green iguanas were found in blossoming trees.

We visited here on a walk from our hotel Le Grand Courlan. Its very pretty and peacful but the history of it really makes you think about what the islanders have been through over 100s of years. Its very well kept and neat. We saw a woodpeck and a large beaeater too. Lovely place

A beautifully unspoilt place where you can imagine the old fort defending the island of Tobago. The beach below is simply paradise.

You get a wonderful view of the bay from the end of Fort Bennett and it makes a lovely walk up from the Waves restaurant.

Very little here, but nice views. Less than a mile each way from Le Grand Courland, so makes for a good gentle stroll.

It was raining when we visited and so we did not stay long. Whilst there is a kiosk, entry appears to be free and there is a good view from the headland with pelicans on the rocks below.

Parking can only cater for 2-3 cars but the place does not appear to be a headline tourist attraction.

At the top there are some well-maintained gardens and old cannons and there is a helpful information board.
