“Perfect cottage rental in Kilmaine”
Reviewed 13 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Mary's cottage was exceptional- cute and clean in an idyllic setting with all the extras- 2 bathrooms, washing machine, and internet.

The cottage is on a working farm and it is a very lovely setting to relax. It is also easy driving distance to Cong, Westport, and Castlebar etc

Highly recommeded and would stay here again!

“Home away from home”
Reviewed 3 August 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This comfortable cottage is perfect for our visits to the Ballinrobe area. It is clean and cozy. We instantly feel at home in Ballymartin Arms as it reminds me of my grandmother's home. It includes all the amenities you need and is a nice private location. Mary is very responsive and available and attentive to all your needs. The kids love seeing the farm animals right outside the door and experiencing a bit of the farm life. We have booked twice and plan to book again when we return to visit family.

“rural bliss ! :)”
Reviewed 24 May 2016 for a stay in July 2015

Had a lovely week here with my parents and children. Situated at the end of a long boreen perfect for evening walks! Perfect location as a base for driving around the area which is what we wanted. Mary was lovely and very accommodating. The house is full of charm, and the working farm on the doorstep would be a novelty for city kids! Wildlife in abundance - sheep and cows and donkeys, and even a hare!

Lovely spot,

Highly recommended:)

“Peaceful, clean and well equiped”
Reviewed 22 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

A bit remote, but an excellent find. So peaceful (apart from sheep) - a well equiped and clean cottage., with plenty of space for our labrador. Ideally situated for exploring Co. Mayo and Connerma. Galway only 45 mins drive for City life and shops. Ballinrobe nearest town and Cong only 10 mins drive away for many eateries. Neale nearer, has a superb restaurant - the Pyramid. We didn't get to meet the owner. The only downside was the poor internet - could not use laptop. Also lacking in garden furniture and the stairs up to twin bedroom very steep. No good for older people.
