We had never heard of this café before during our many visits to Barbados; and when we were looking for a last minute idea for dinner, our relatives suggested it and joined us. Located a few hundred meters from the famous South Coast Oistins Fishing Village (6 km south of Accra Beach), it offered a modest but varied menu, but not surprisingly the main fare is fish. Most of us had the catch-of-the day at $45 BDS ($22.50 US) which was available as fried, grilled or blackened. My grilled mahi-mahi (or as Bajan would say "dolphin fish") was grilled to perfection and served with sauted potatoes and a small salad - it was delicious. We shared appetizers of fish cakes and bruschetta which were very tasty. Unexpectedly, that was some excellent entertainment with a singer accompanying himself with an electric guitar; he was very talented but the volume could have been cut in half to allow conversation. All and all, an excellent place and we will probably go back before we return to Canada

Had breakfast there this morning with my wife and 2 teenagers. Seated promptly and our juice and coffee came quickly, but after 1/2 hour had to go find the waitress and ask her to take our orders. Our omlettes took another 45 minutes to come during which we NEVER saw the waitress. The omelettes were good but the toast was spongy and unpalatable. The OJ was watered down and tasteless. Overall a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place for breakfast.

I have visited this friendly little cafe several times over the years. Great choice of meals, snacks, drinks :-) and free wi-fi !

A bit of a mixed bag.. For Lunch if you plan and book a table by a open window overlooking the beach the view is fantastic but their are only a few of these tables available and the remaining tables are a little boring . We had wraps etc for lunch and the food was spot on simple fresh and reasonably priced and the service was very good to. We visited again in the evening and because we didn't want a simple lunch menu we were disappointed and it was the same menu for dinner . The venue was almost empty and I'm sure it was for the same reason. I do know they have big music nights in the week so I think they concentrate on that rather than make it a dinner destination . So yes to lunch with planning and no to dinner. The staff were all friendly and helpful...

We followed the reviews and were not disappointed. It was Friday night so most people were at Oistins fish fry but as we had already been we tried this place. We managed to get a window (more of a balcony) table and even though it was dark it made it special.
The food was very good, catch of the day and chicken tacos followed by the yummy pudding, cookie ice cream sandwich. Big enough for two to share.
It was happy hour when we arrived so it was double rum punch time!
Highly recommended.
