Booked this hotel only about 3 months beforehand and was a bit unsure about our room and tried to change it before we arrived but none available. Needn't have worried when we got there as room was spacious with everything we needed. All the staff are amazing! The cleaning ladies teaching me to 'wok up' and all the team at the front desk and the bar and restaurant staff! And Chris putting our sunbeds in just the right spot on the beach! Keep up the good work! We always say it's the people of Barbados that make the place extra special! Location was perfect, short walk to the Gap and all the restaurants and we will definitely come back!

We only visited for cocktails at sunset. The location and hotel looks amazing. The cocktails are lovely, two daiquiris cost about 28BDS, happy hour 5pm till 6pm. The outside bar area is popular around sunset so arrive early. Would consider staying here on our return visit.

Thank you for this review.

Our sunsets are widely enjoyed by resident and non resident guests and there is no better place to do so than on the deck of Sea Fans Beach Bar and restaurant.

We would certainly love to welcome you on your return visit whether just for drink or dinner or for a stay with us at Infinity on the Beach.

Barbados is a wonderful country with the most welcoming and gentle people in the Carribean (*except for maybe Turks and Caicos). The country caters to tourism and we chose to stay in a more popular of tourist areas called St. Lawrence Gap, aka "The Gap".

This visit we stayed at the hotel Infinity On The Beach. We were able to secure a beach front studio suite on the second floor (Room 201).

I feel it is important to explain that this is experience is relative to building appropriate expectations. Let me explain:

Our hotel room was right above the beach bar and less than 100 feet from the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed sounds of crashing waves every night. It is loud. But, for us New Yorkers used to city sounds - the waves were a welcomed sound of harmony every night. Additionally, the balcony of our room and the view of the sunset it offered was exquisite. (See pictures)

That being said, Infinity on the beach offers a great location on the beach, which beach lovers will appreciate. The beach chairs are complimentary. Umbrellas and equipment for water sports are available from the vendors, who are very nice.

Regarding the room: The king bed was comfortable however the pillows seemed a little weathered and flat. Linens were fresh but, just as I like my pillows, I wish they were a bit more full. There is a sink, microwave and mini fridge useful for keeping drinks cold!!! (Note: we always BYOB)

The air conditioning was fully functional.

The closet space was ample for our needs, there are also neat little cubbies and cutouts for storage.

The bathroom is fine. It had a large mirror and hair dryer and multiple outlets. The shower was basic but clean. This is a humid environment, mold is prevalent and the tile could use a slight refresh. There was mostly hot water (we never needed to use the cold and only 1 day the water took a while to warm up) but, the curtain swayed at times while showering. It is a narrow space(we are tall but average sized people). There was no space to place the soap and shampoo toiletries so, it was little awkward to bend over and pick up your soaps etc. and manage the shower curtain. I was very appreciative of the towel bar but the placement was unique in that it was above the toilet so if you actually used the towel bar to dry your towels it would drape over your head while using the facility.

Wifi was strong in the room and even reached as far as the beach and also bar.

In conclusion, if you come infinity on the beach try as best as you can to get a beachfront room. Additionally, set your expectation that you are here for the beach view and the beach. Beyond sleeping hours we didn't spend much time in the room except for the balcony. The accommodations were clean and above satisfactory but just know that it's nothing fancy. It's clean, safe, convenient and the staff is friendly, attentive and professionalism. On a daily basis we were asked about our visit or if there is anything we needed to make out stay more comfortable.

Also there is a European plan available that we did not purchase but will going forward/

I like infinity. I will go back and definitely recommend to others.

Thank you for this great review.

Room 201 is one of our superior ocean view rooms and one of the most popular choices among our room stock. It does provide excellent views of the ocean and, unlike our standard ocean side rooms, the views are guaranteed. We usually recommend this room for our real ocean lovers for whom the sights and sounds of the oceans are a significant part of their vacation experience. We are glad that you liked it.

Thank you too for your feedback on the other items. We will definitely seek to address them.

We are glad to know that you will be back with us for another stay and certainly look forward to welcoming you back to Infinity on the Beach.

Stayed for 1 night.
Location brilliant.
Room fine but overpriced with no breakfast included.
No bottle water in the room, these days surely a given??
The pillows seemed to be 3/4 size, very strange.
I think I was spoilt in Saint Vincent.

Thank you for your review.

We like to think that our reputation is built on more than our location but we certainly have been told that we have one of the best locations: right in the heart of the Gap, on a amazing stretch of beach and within walking distance of restaurants, amenities and nightlife.

Bottled water is offered as an option for your welcome drink however, after this they are available for purchase from Sea Fans Beach Bar and restaurant.

In order to really enjoy Barbados you really should spend more than one day and we hope that you will consider doing so at Infinity on the Beach. We would like to welcome you back.

My husband and I recently spent 2 weeks at this lovely hotel. It was wonderful ! We could only just see the ocean from our balcony but that didn't matter as we spent very little time on there. The room was spacious with a big bed, lovely furnishings and plenty of room for clothes etc.. The Bathroom could do with upgrading a little but it was clean. We had clean towels almost every day and the room was kept beautifully clean. There was a small fridge, T.V. and telephone and a safe. The staff were all very friendly and would do anything they could to make you happy. Our hairdryer broke one night but within 5 mins of telling reception a lovely young man came with a new one. Breakfasts were good and though we didn't eat in the hotel much otherwise when we did the food was very good .There are lots of places to eat in The Gap so we were spoilt for choice of where to go at night or in the day. We have already booked to go again next year and cant wait !! We had a really relaxing holiday which was just what we needed. Chrissy at The Virgin Beach hut just outside the hotel helped us to choose a couple of trips. A catamaran and an island tour were both brilliant. Do go to see her for advice about where to go and what to do. The hotel and its location , both on the beach and in The Gap plus all the lovely people there make Infinity the perfect place to go for a holiday. Book it!!

Thank you for this fabulous review.

We agree that we are a great spot to chill out. Our beach is definitely one of the reasons for our laid back atmosphere and our central location is the Gap is another. What better way to enjoy Barbados?!

We thank you so much for your kind comments and your recommendation.

We are looking forward to seeing you again very soon at Infinity on the Beach.
