We recently spent five nights here, while visiting our son who attends school in Grenada. The location is on the north end of Grand Anse, and getting around is a breeze. We rented a car which made getting around that much easier. The place has it's own private beach, which made it great for a private getaway. We normally spend time driving around exploring the surroundings, but this time spent the entire time there on the compound because it was so enjoyable. And every wonderful afternoon turned into a great sunset with cocktails.
Elvis and Jane were the best! They were always available for anything we needed, always good to share a conversation or cocktail with. We have stayed at other places in Grenada before, but will only go back here in the future!
Helene and I just spent a great month at The Sea Glass Place. We have been travelling for many years and have never had hosts as warm and friendly as Elvis & Jane. They are truly wonderful people asking us daily if we needed anything and always fulfilling our needs immediately. Sleeping to the sound of the Caribbean surf, sitting on one of the many decks watching the boats go by or taking their kayaks out to explore the coast was awesome. Did I mention the private beach? The property is centrally located and close to all your needs. Thank you to Jane & Elvis and the incredibly friendly Grenadian people for a wonderful visit. We have already booked a month for 2018. Make sure to put this place on your bucket list.
We stayed here for 4 nights prior to carnival in Trinidad, we arrived late on Sunday and Elvis and Jane had arranged a pick up which was great. They also texted us asking if we needed anything putting in fridge, duly obliged with beer and water,
The apartment is well laid out and has everything you need.
The private beach is good and Elvis and Jane joined everyone for drinks and a chat in the evening and were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Kayaks were available and used which was fun along with the rope swing on the beach.
All in all a fabulous spot and excellent hosts will definitely return in the future.
We spent a wonderful 2 weeks in the Start Fruit apartment at Sea Glass Place in January. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with everything you need, but the things that make this place outstanding are the location and the hosts.
Sea Glass Place is on a delightful stretch of beach which can only be accessed from the accommodation or by boat which means it is mostly private. All the rooms have balconies overlooking the sea plus a small communal garden area and a little deck overlooking the beach which is perfect for watching the sunsets.
It is also nicely located at the very top of Grande Anse beach and not far from St George’s – if we didn’t want to walk we just hopped on the local buses.
Elvis and Jane are excellent and very professional hosts. They provided us with information on the island, arranged taxis for us when we wanted to go further afield and advised on places to go and how to get there. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble – they have a passion for the island and want you to get the best experience of it that you can. They are also very entertaining company – we spent several pleasant evenings on the deck admiring the glorious sunsets whilst drinking rum punch with them.
We loved our stay with Elvis and Jane and I would thoroughly recommend Sea Glass Place for anyone who wants to sample a little bit of Grenada. It really is just like the pictures!
We had a wonderful 2 week stay in the Star Fruit Apartment. The balcony overlooking the sea was wonderful. Every night we watched the sunset with a rum punch or beer in our hands, it doesn't get much better than that. Easy access to St Georges we often walked (40 mins) had dinner and got the bus back. Lots of places to eat on Grand Anse beach also an easy walk either along beach or road. Elvis and Jane were brilliant. All in all one of the best holidays we have had.
