We visited the Peace resort hotel in June for 10 nights and it was amazing. From arrival where they welcome you with a glass of what i think was fresh passion fruit water. check in was easy and quick and very helpful.
The little bungalows are perfect for couples and only a short walk away from the pool area and the beach. There were plenty of loungers for all guests and make sure you book in for a massage in the hut by the pool. I have never had a massage like it and really cheap considering how good it was.
The breakfast food was as you would expect, help yourself items but still great quality. The day time and evening food was also great and cheap. Stay away from the western food, not to say it was bad but the local Thai dishes are amazing.
All in all we loved every minute of being at the Peace resort and would definitely visit again.
Thank you to all staff for looking after us.

I have a few things i like to read about myself when i do research before finding a place to stay. Location, comfort and value-for money factor high on my list. Id like to confirm that peace resort fulfills all of the prerequisites very well.

Peace is located about 10 minutes from the "Fishermans Village", which has a sprinkling of nice restaurants and bars which cater to both western and thai food. There is a small assortment of shops located here too. Further afield are small townlets providing typical island bars and entertainment which are easily accessible by scooter. A family mart is 20 seconds from the hotel. The beach which peace looks out onto has a very quintessential "calm blue water", the sea is about 28 degrees and just perfect.

The room itself is virtually impossible to fault, high end comfort is provided with consistently good daily cleaning from surprisingly friendly and eloquent cleaning staff (the lady who cleaned 105 mid November was very nice).

Yes, the resort is not a budget hotel- but personally we feel that the money was well spent. Breakfast was far and away the best we have had in a hotel. Staff are attentive and well trained. The pool is incredible with poolside massages available. The resort also provides a gym, computer room, tailor, small library, small shop and on-site scooter rental. I should mention about the resort that there seems to be an issue at the pool in that most sunloungers are positioned in the shade past 2pm.

A stand out element of the resort was the guest relations manager, Domi. An endearing and friendly woman who you will find daily near reception. Domi was happy to help us out with any and all bookings or questions and has a great knowledge of the island. She was always happy to take time with us, has an amazing attitude and taught us so much about the island.

I find a very reliable means to test an experience at a hotel is whether one would stay there again. I would stay at Peace Resort again, and i would recommend others consider this resort in their choices for holidaymaking.

I loved everything about this hotel: the location on a nice wide sandy beach, close to key landmarks (Big Buddha, fishermen's market, airport...), beautiful and relaxing resort with a lot of lush vegetation (you feel close to nature), comfortable bungalows, great swimming-pool, very friendly staff and nice food. I would definitely go back anytime! I wanted a nice and relaxing holiday surrounded by beautiful views and sceneries and that's exactly what I got! November was also a great time as there were not many tourists so it felt very peaceful, perfect to switch off!

We spent 3 nights at Peace Resort on our honeymoon tour from South Africa. All I can say is Wow. It's a fantastic resort with great staff and awesome views. We stayed in the bungalows which was very comfortable and spacious. Although they were renovating it did not cause any issues. We loved having the beach at our door step. The beach at Peace resort is the cleanest of Bophut Beach so we were glad that we stayed there. We will definitely be back.
