Stayed here for 3 nights arriving 1st November. Had booked two garden rooms but received a free upgrade to two sea view rooms.Food, entertainment excellent, beach exceptional but the weather was disappointing.Kids pool area great, everywhere exceptionally clean.
Wished we could have stayed longer will definitely go back next year.Received two bottles of olive oil to take home along with two bottles of wine!!!5 star and more.

Room tip: Get a sea view room as going to the beach you don't have to walk through the tunnel and you can always eat at the Beach Club

Stayed for a week, got a good price on sunshine for halfboard (pilot beach holidays had a better price but for 7 days), we paid extra for our third child on arrival directly. We were driven for a minute to our room, which turned out to be a 2 bed ground floor overlooking one of the many pools.
Its a beautiful complex, well kept grounds, brilliant layout on beach (yes there is a tunnel to get there - few mins walk), the beach itself is lovely, loads of sunbeds etc and a short walk on the beach to Georgioupolis. The weather was mostly showers while we were there so kids didnt use the pools or paddle in sea - will be fab in good weather, lovely kids pool with slides. The hairdresser in hotel is very reasonably priced and good, indoor pool small but great when weather bad.
All staff exceedingly polite and helpful.
Food - overall great. Yes, its a bit generic, to cater to the many nationalities visiting, but there is lots and cooked well - smoked salmon Sunday breakfast, gigantic tiger prawns etc. Yes, drinks had to be paid for, around Euro 3.50 for a litre of water and similar prices for a glass of wine. Also ate at the bar - reasonably priced Euro 5-6 for a filled baguette, I think.
The rooms are a bit dated, but suited us fine, lovely olive oil soap!
Children loved the tasty corner buffet which has lots of options, and not just pizza/nuggets. Adults eat for Euro15 from a larger buffet for lunch.
One of the reasons for the 5 stars is the great animation team, and one of the best mini discos seen, even though no songs in English!! 4 animators doing the mini disco, all enjoying themselves. The kids club had calm, polite animators, who actually played with our children, rather than leave them alone - all ages. Whether ball games or table tennis etc. Thank you, and to Delfina (?) from housekeeping who took them on a mini ride in the rain when we got lost! There is a free little train every evening 7pm around the hotel.
We were given a large can of olive oil at checkout.
Wifi worked fine in room.
Overall, very pleased and will return, but in better weather!

We stayed at the pilot beach resort for a week for our honeymoon and also my birthday whilst their. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left every single member of staff could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we could possibly need. Antonis Giannakakis the hotels Guest Relations Manager was very professional and helpful and made our stay extra special. We could not thank him enough. I would definitely recommend this hotel because the reception staff were very helpful and the food was outstanding with lots of choice. The kids club was also fantastic with fabulous staff. The suite we stayed in was amazing and very spacious and the maids cleaned every day. Fantastic view of the large swimming pool. This hotel was the best I have stayed in a long time.

Returned to Pilot Beach for the first two weeks in October. Absolutely fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Spotless. Will be returning in May 2016. All staff were very friendly especially the manager who appeared to be everywhere ensuring everything was running smooth.

Room tip: 3000 to 5000 room numbers are quiet with pool or garden views
