We stayed over a rather damp end to Easter weekend. However the facilities on site made the visit and stay rather more comfortable for two girls and a first time camper. The toilet and shower blocks were just across from our tent and were very clean and warm. The people who we met at the office on the first day and the on site staff were very friendly and happy to see you. The beach is a short stroll down the road and offers great views. Take a kite with you if it's a little windy. It was great fun during a blustery afternoon. Not too far to drive to visit the white cliffs of Dover or Hastings as well as some great places to visit nearby like the Dungeness lighthouse.
Great value for money of your camping and the ground is fairly even. Didn't get boggy either considering the rain we first had. There's a farm nearby and hearing the sheep and wildlife around made us feel properly out in the country.More
