A difficult one, this. First impressions of the house were very good. Certainly has a "wow" factor. As other reviews have pointed out, though, the place is in need of some work- render coming off the walls outside, lots of niggly little problems (no shutters working, WiFi internet access not working, downstairs cistern, outside light etc). But nothing disastrous.
Location is something of a two-edged sword, too. First impression brilliant - on the "first line" - so opening out directly onto the walkway by the beach. Lovely views from the balcony. The flipside of that is the music from the "Gin Club" going on until after midnight, at which point they throw the empty bottles into recycling bins! Then in the middle of the night the sound of beach and path cleaning machines trundling up and down. In compensation, the Gin Club had free WiFi which we could pick up!
The complex itself is very nice - nice pools, an "upmarket feel" about it.
There were 6 of us (2 adults, 4 kids) and one of the children had to sleep on a sofa bed that was not particularly comfy. No idea how you would sleep 8!
Unlike other reviews, I would praise the service we got from Kati. She was waiting for us, and her Dad came round straightaway when we managed to lock ourselves out!
We stayed in this house for 4 weeks with no contact from either the owner or a representative. We tried to contact the number which we were given but it was unobtainable. No maid service. We were left with a bucket, a mop and a very scruffy broom. Towels were old and hard and need replacing. Sheets were mis-match. The downstairs toilet cistern was running all the time. The oven tray was left with fat in it which smelt awful. The outside table and chairs needed a good wash and there was a broken BBQ left on the grass. Ideal location, but the house has been neglected and needs updating. It was not worth the money we had to pay and would not recommend this rental property to friends!
