Visited on the year end after pilgrimage visit to Kolhapur and surrounding temples .Small place good for one two evenings and place for relaxing .
Very close to Kolhapur. 15 kms.
Good roads.
Other wise Under developed as a hill station or tourist attraction.
Not much to see.
Lot of hotels and restaurants on the fort.
It is not really a hill station but a cute little fort town with history. Good place to stroll around. Step well near the bus stand is scenic and good to see the village life. Lovely views especially during the monsoon. Greenery all around.
Nicely maintained and with rich history its a good place to visit.. take a guide which cost 200rs....best time to visit June to September .. Oct will be HOT as you have to walk in open.... you must stay for 1 max 1.5 day if you are planning to visit kolhapur and near by area....
