We loved the Kewarra Beach Resort! It was set in a beautiful location, has independent pools and a private lagoon which all gives you a feeling that you are staying "in nature", surrounded by a rainforest and having direct access to a beautiful beach.

The food is amazing, service is a 10-out-of-10, and I would recommend it without second -guessing myself to anyone goint to Kewarra: you will not regret it.

Kewarra Beach Resort is ideally located at a distance away from the city abuzz and rightfully in the natural habitats to create a blissful surround for relaxation. The vast spread of greens and blues inside the resort give a peaceful environment and one can feel close to nature, hearing the tweets of birds and the sound of the cricket and other similar insects. The staff are friendly and always ensure that you are pampered.
The resort also pampers one with the provision of IPads for use in their reception area to enable maximum comfort while surfing. The place is conveniently located close to the public transport as well, if one wants to explore the Smithfield / Cairns City close by.

In all a great place to spend a vacation being pampered in a luxurious way !

This is our fourth stay here but our first since new owners took over, We were a little worried it would not be as good, but we were not disappointed. We didn't think it could get any better but it has. A new light and airey reception greets you and a new Restaurant which now has great views to the sea, lovely when you are enjoying breakfast or dinner. Our Lodge was on the edge of the beach so you could hear the sea when falling to sleep. It was clean with flowers on the bed to greet you, the attention to detail to make your stay wonderful was superb. They even had a mother and baby wallaby jump by the veranda while we sitting out in the evening. They now have a Spa so you can be pampered from head to toe. We came to celebrate our wedding Anniversary and it was wonderful.

I found this hotel to be a great, warm environment. We had a room off the beach and it was very beatiful and very unique. We couldn't swim because of the jelly fish but the location was very good. the only knock on the location is you really only have the one in-house restaurant and you can get tired of that menu. the staff was amazing and very accomodating and just really great people. I would not call the site luxiourous but much more authentic. We went to Sydney afterwards and the two environments are totally different but I think this was a perfect stop for our family. I really can't say enough about the staff. One last comment, the spa really could not accomodate us so that might be a small negative.

recently spent 4 nights at kewarra beach resort after spending 3 weeks traveling around
australia. the hotel was wonderful in every aspect. private bungaloo overlooking the beach,
beautiful pools and beach set in a tropical garden. we took breakfast and dinner package which was well worth it. food delicious, restaurant beautiful..our room was large, comfortable and spotless. the front desk was extremely helpful in setting up day trips to daintree national park and snorkeling at the great barrier reef. would recommend the resort without hesitation.
ps all the staff was friendly and helpful.
