We have stayed at the rocca romano residenza for 9 nights and we have had a great stay. The swimmingpool was very nice and our chalet was also good. The staff is very kind. The location was perfect to visit Rome and the lake Bracciano. Along lake Bracciano are a lot of cute villages with nice restaurants.

Fantastic experience staying in Italy with incredible food and very attentive staff. The pool is an extra highlight and is kept in great condition by Antonello & co. Would definitely come back if I were to stay near Rome again.
Set in a beautiful location, the hotel has gorgeous facilities, including a lovely swimming pool, the staff were very accommodating and the food was excellent! It's only a ten minute drive from Trevignano, which is well worth a trip. I thoroughly recommend it.
Rocca Romana is a beautiful place, lovely and peaceful with a big pool and very generous and helpful staff and host, Antonello. Was here for a week of singing and eating and lounging around. Very relaxing, beautiful stars at night and lovely accommodation (cottages are fully equipped to cook for yourself). Very nearby Trevignano (good for cafes, gelati, pedalos and lake swimming), though you need a car to get there. About 30 mins drive from Bracciano / Cesano stations, which offer quick and cheap links into Rome (1 EUR fares).
My sister and I enjoyed a wonderful week at Rocca Romana earlier this month. The setting is absolutely beautiful - cypress and olive trees and lovely views of the surrounding hills - all in a gloriously quiet rural location - and the pool is fantastic too - everything you would want for a relaxing holiday in the Italian countryside. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had air-conditioning. The icing on the cake for me was the food served in the restaurant - straightforward, unpretentious and delicious, just as Italian food should be. Antonello and his staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This was our first visit to Rocca, but I'm already looking forward to a return visit. It's a lovely place to unwind.
This was my third visit and again Rocca Romana was a perfect base whether it was a day around the pool or an opportunity to explore the near by towns, lake or venture into Rome.
As always we were warmly welcomed and looked after by the hosts and their friendly staff.
Would certainly recommend.
