Too many places don't want to spend the money on refurbishing to ensure the place doesn't look and feel tired and this hotel unfortunately falls in to this category
On a bright note they do have an excellent chef in the restaurant. Even though we wont stay at the hotel , we will definitely go to the restaurant for an evening meal when we are next in the Barossa

Room tip: Ground floor rooms are easiest to access as there are no lifts

Firstly I was impressed following an email I sent asking if they had a tour desk. Whilst they didn't have one, I received a response the following day listing a number of tour companies in the region. Check in was efficient and welcoming. Our Superior Room was lovely, clean and spacious for our 3 night stay. Beautiful views were enjoyed across the valley from our balcony. Pool area was large with plenty of shade and lounges available. Meals from the restaurant and room service were delicious and generous in proportions. All staff at the resort were quick to smile and assist when approached. Would definitely recommend this resort.

Room tip: We were on ground floor and occasionally could hear footsteps from above room.

My husband and I were gifted a two night stay by our children. We extended it to three nights.
The resort is about an 8 minute drive out of Tanunda and sits up behind Jacob’s Creek and St Hugo’s Cellar Doors.
The views across the bush and vineyards are spectacular from each room.
We stayed in one of the standard rooms on the upper floor (Note: No lifts) The room was clean, air conditioned with a comfy king bed and well appointed bathroom.
Nice pool area but no casual dining option available which was disappointing, as it is a nice area.
Dinner available (set price for either 2 or 3 courses). I recommend you book. Again, lovely views from most tables. Staff were great throughout the resort. Very friendly and helpful.
On our first night we attended a pre-dinner complimentary wine tasting, showcasing Z Wines in one of the conference rooms. A great start and lots of fun.
Only negative is that it’s a drive to all Cellar doors and into Tanunda if you don’t want to eat at the resort.
