My worst experience ever with a hotel. The place is 10 KMs from civilization, I reached there by 5 PM and found that the plastic lids on toilet-sets in both the rooms we had were broken. The caretaker asked us to talk to owner; we called him, he talked very rudely and asked us to leave the hotel. We were stunned, we have never seen anybody in hospitality industry behaving like that.
We tried to reason with him and he said that he will send a police SI to throw us out. It was late and finding another hotel would have been difficult. So I called Ibibo, they took the owner and me on conference call and asked him to let us stay. So we stayed in a room where toilet seat had no lid.
I won't recommend this hotel to even enemies.
The whole family took a trip to kasauli and we booked all 3 rooms of this home stay , it has nicely done bedrooms and a nice sit out area. The villa is located in a v quiet area and this is exactly what we wanted. 2 helpers were given for preparing food which we had been alreayd been informed wont be elaborate ... and we were happy iwth that , food was delicious , home cooked and we prefer that over the oily preprations of the hotels . the sit out was a great attraction and there was ample space to sit inside the property too.
the only thing one has to be aware of is to request them to clean ur bathrooms etc... thorughly and start spraying for mosquitoes 2 days before guest visit.
recomended only for people who like a quiet place and home cooked food
