We arrived in lembongan and were taken to the Tanis villas. Because we were early we had to wait at reception nearly two hours before our room was ready ( that's ok because check in time is 2pm and we arrived at 12)
When we got to our room we were shocked at the room.there was no where to sit or put your luggage. The was a bed with some rickety old bedsides tables, that was our furniture.the was a rusty bar fridge in the room,any water you wanted you had to purchase.there was a rusty very old can opener which was bent.
When we wet to the bathroom there were no face towels or hand towels but just two very old and very grey bath towels.
At night when we went to bed the noise from a construction site next door went on till all hours in the morning.
The breakfast the net morning was awful and the staff rude.
When we went to the pool, we asked for some pool towels and eventually were given towel that were still damp, had sunscreen on them and dried food. When we said something to a staff member she was very rude.
We were meant to stay there a week but went back to the a inland after 3 days. We were not the only ones who left early, a group of twelve left after two days and they were going to stay a week too.
It is rated as a three and a half star resort so we knew that we would not get the luxuries that we were used to but we didn't expect the grottyness and rudeness do the staff.
We will never go back again, there are plenty of other beautiful places in Bali to go back to and we would rather spend our money there.
