Beautiful barn conversion set in outstanding countryside. The barn itself has been tastefully renovated with all the original features and has wonderful views across the fields. Its light and airy and west facing so the sunsets are amazing. We saw lots of wildlife right on the doorstep - hares, owls, kestrel and sparrow hawk. The owners John and Lorna were really friendly and welcoming, as was Lily their little dog. Really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.
2 reviews A lovely home in relaxing and beautiful surroundings the cottage has all the amenities you need which are all new and well looked after giving you such a home from home feel. The wildlife on the farm is superb including owls. The lake is well stocked with fish, and John and Lorna made us feel so welcome and were so friendly and Lily the pet dog was just lovely we'd certainly recommend this holiday home to our friends and family

Had a fabulous weekend at the cottage - everything has been very well thought through. Good quality furnishings, large shower room, beautiful views across the fields from the main bedroom, lounge and kitchen, table and chairs and grassed area. We got a glimpse of the resident barn owl and my husband had a dabble in the owners fishing lake - perfectly peaceful. The owners were even kind enough to drop us at the bus stop opposite the Fox & Goose pub so that we could get the number 40 bus to Norwich - we sweet talked the driver on the way back to drop us at the end of Storeys Lane near the water tower and only had a short walk back to the cottage, although in fairness we could have easily biked it to/from Fressingfield. We also biked it to Cratfield to see the wild horses, on to Laxfield and the Kings Head pub (known as the Low House and it has no bar but pours its beers directly from the barrels - great character and definitely worth a visit), on to the Fox & Goose and The Swan all within easy reach. What more could one ask for? Ah yes, of course - one dog included! Lilly is adorable ...

Great stay at moat farm,
John and Lorna's are very nice and Lily the dog is adorable.
Saw owls on the farm on a daily basis.
Would stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
