I was booked in by my company ($170, room only) as I had an early flight the next morning and the airport is 5 mins away. I had a simple and fairly small bedroom overlooking the highway (no traffic noise) that was OK but no desk or chair unless you brought one in from the small balcony. The bathroom window shade was inadequate at night given the room was well overlooked by the other wings and it demonstrated an element of cheapness in the refurbishment. A tattooing conference was on when I stayed, which made for some very interesting (and colourful) guests and parking could have been difficult but the check-in staff were very helpful getting me into the underground car park. The hotel is now really serviced apartments, which is fine, but meant that some typical hotel services are unavailable such as charge-to-room for meals at the restaurant, which I found irksome. The restaurant menu was frankly fairly limited to club type fare and prices and service were rather club like (order and pay at the desk) like but portions were good and the staff friendly. No-one at reception when I checked out at 0600, which tends to reinforce the lack of hotel facilities. For a simple overnight stay the hotel was adequate but for holidays I might be inclined to look around although, in fairness, the hotel is right on the beach.
