One of our favorite place for Peking Duck. Our boys both love it and it's not too pricey. We always have the Peking Duck as our entree and on the numerous occasions we were there, it always a long wait for the rest of the other dishes.

We are always there on a Saturday (make sure you book if you do not want to wait in the queue) and therefore they are always busy. Probably the reason why the wait. Hopefully they can improve as do find the food tasty, if you know what to order.

As for service, depends on who serve you. Service is inconsistent as sometimes you do get unfriendly service.

Will we be back? Yes, definitely.

We came in for lunch with couple of kids, who are naturally restless due to their age. The attitude of the "serving" staff is such that they expressed their displeasure, by physically bumping us and said "quickly leave" in Chinese. The bumping must be a "restaurant policy" or egotistical arrogance, as both a young thin Chinese waitress with long hair in a pony tail, as well as an older Chinese waiter perpetrated this offence. The older man hit me as I picked up my child to leave. Hurrying on his way to an EMPTY table to urgently place paper napkins, plates and bowls for the next potential customer. Instead to respecting the paying customer currently in their half empty restaurant. It was an act of spite, very unacceptable in the "hospitality"/ "service" industry. We might as well have cooked our own meal, instead of spending money at this place. As if we want to be treated so appalingly. It's disgraceful. This place is not cheap, but you would get better treatment from a $2 shop than here. Perhaps they fancied themselves as royal and deem it necessary to make it known that customers with restless kids are treated like dirt. I write this review, as I seriously think speaking to them will do little to initiate a change in attitude. It appears built in to this restaurant's culture/ personality. This is the rudest restaurant I have ever encountered. The "serving" staff are more concerned about their own ego than creating an enjoyable experience for the diners.

Food was OK although not great. Staff were rude and service was extremely slow. We were made to feel guilty about asking for additional cucumber for the pancakes and it took a long time to arrive. The duck was "pulled" rather than carved and done so poorly that we had to do most of the work ourselves.

We have been there a couple of times with the whole family. The restaurant is always full. It is run by a Cantonese boss but they offer both Cantonese and other Chinese cuisines if you are familiar with Chinese cuisines. I appreciate that thy try to attract as many customers as possible, but sometimes you lose the focus the it reveals in the food you serve which may lack a bit of the locality or genuine taste. Price is okay at the medium towards lower end. Average $15-20 per head. All in all a good place for a quick catch-up or family dine out but not for a romantic occasion or serious business dinner.
