Great place to take a first date/blind date and/or great for after dinner for drinks.
Dimly lit, but not too dim to appear sleazy; laid back background music to break the ice and not too loud so you can easily make conversation without having to shout.
It has a very intimate, lounge feeling; very warm and couzy with mainly lounge and sofas for seating (there are also come tables and chairs but not many).
Excellent cocktails and drinks menu and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Note: Be patient if your ordering cocktails (5 to 10 minute wait for drinks) - understandable as each cocktail is make from scratch.
Parking Tip: I parked in the train station car park opposite (entry via Burke Road) at apx 7:30pm and the parking lot was half empty and free of charge (1 minute walk to the lounge). If parking on the road nearby, be very careful of the signage - my friend received a $93.00 parking fine!
Place gets fairly busy after 9:30/10pm. Good to go early or reserve a lounge/sofa.
Only negative: I went on Friday, 26 May 17 and the kitchen was under renovation so there was no food.
All in all great place; would definately go again. Would highly recommend it for people going on a first date/blind date!!
PS., To enter the building come in under the "moo brew" sign; the building is next door to the bike shop; then go down the stairs (up stairs is a different venue) and enter via a unnamed wooden door to your right.
