A lovely base to explore the superb forest (Ensure you take a trip down the river Wye in a canoe!). clean smart and very generous with welcoming wines! up behind the church with owl for company... would come again anytime !

“A great place to stay”
Reviewed 29 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We had a lovely 5 days in this beautiful and well equipped cottage. The owners have thought of everything that you could possibly need. Is in a fantastic location for everything the forest has to offer. Definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely be back. The White Horse pub which is a 10min amble is a must for a gorgeous dinner to finish off your busy day.

“Cosy and well located cottage”
Reviewed 13 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I stayed here for a short break recently with my young family. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and the furnishings in the cottage were of a high standard. Great location for getting to popular attractions such as Puzzlewood and Perrygrove Railway. The hosts had thought of everything that you might need during your stay and the location is very peaceful considering how well-connected it is.

“Excellent cottage in a perfect location.”
Reviewed 6 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Newly refurbished to a high standard, this lovely cottage is in an ideal location for exploring the Wye Valley and The Forest of Dean. Extremely well equipped, tastefully decorated, much bigger than expected. Lots of storage space in both bedrooms and kitchen. Lovely walled, south facing courtyard garden. Large shed for safely storing bikes. Walk and cycle straight from the door. Can recommend The White Horse pub in Staunton (5 minute walk away). Visited Sculpture Trail, walked to Symonds Yat and along River Wye. Will definitely revisit.
