I stopped there without having booked and was very fortunate there was a vacant room after a day long drive. The receptionist was very efficient and checked if the parking lot was really secure and had me park within eyesight from the reception and the cameras. As far as the room, diner and breakfast everything was OK. A good rest for the next part of my journey.

The pool was a lot smaller than it seemed and also the outdoor area was not at all well kept. The staff weren’t exactly friendly and also our room (017) was a long walk with heavy suitcases without a lift offered. However, the dinner was alright and there was a nice view of the stars at night. Also there were two cats which stayed around the dinner area who were definitely the highlight of our stay!

The Ibis was great. The reception was bright and staff friendly, the rooms large enough and well laid out. All we saw was clean and tidy. Although close to the motorway we did not hear the traffic. We did not manage to use the pool on this occasion, but after a long day in the car it looked really inviting. The covered walk way from the hotel block to the restaurant was a good idea. The restaurant had a good menu and breakfast was very, very impressive and there was a variety of dishes and plenty to eat and drink..Only a 5 minute drive from the Autoroute this is an excellent hotel to use as a stop over or one to explore the area.

We booked this hotel as a stopping point on the way to the South of France. It is very close to the AutoRoute but far enough away not to be disturbed by traffic noise. From the exterior it looks a little tired but once inside presents and attractive open areas.
The receptionists were very helpful and directed us to our room in an adjacent building. Both buildings were air-conditioned. In the courtyard there is a pleasant small swimming pool which appeared to be well used by other clients.
The bedroom was very clean with all the usual amenities. The room had a very comfortable mattress, pillows and together with an efficient blind provided for a good night’s sleep. The shower was a joy being both powerful and hot.
We used the restaurant in the evening. The menu was limited but well-cooked and presented. The servers were attentive although pushed because of the large volume of clients. The chicken skewer was very tender and well flavoured whilst the burger could have benefitted from a standard bun rather than the brioche which ended up quite mushy. However the flavours were very good.
Breakfast was Ibis standard fayre but poorly managed. Orange juice had run out within the first half hour of opening service and never looked like being replenished. The coffee machine only appeared to have two choices despite Ibis budget hotels offering much more. Bread options were limited and all of the Bonne Maman jam jars were empty. There was a great deal of sounds of activity behind the scenes but no apparent presence and attention around the buffet in the half hour that we were seated.
All in all a good stop but expensive for what it delivered especially a disappointing breakfast.

Room Tip: Good hotel for overnight stay and evening meal. Poor supervision at breakfast.

We only there for one night during our stop after went to South of France (Valensole). The hotel provided a free parking and there is a parking spot right in front of our room which is very convenience. Room and amenities are with Ibis standard which are what we expected. Breakfast buffet in the morning was good. Montelimar city centre is about 10 - 15 minutes drive from the hotel. The hotel is not far from highway but we did not hear traffic noise at all.

Room Tip: Room in building A where the parking spot is right in front
