Beautiful views, nice trails- also cater to more advanced riders.. off piste possible although technically a no go( saw plenty of people flying through trees)

No queues and overall a great place to shred.

Try to visit this resort during the week. We did the night sky when we arrived on a thursday afternoon. Long wide run without a crowd. Got good snow and staff very helpful. During the bank holiday weekend the slopes got allot more crowded. Don't forget to get your deposit back on your lift pass but no deposit on all mountain passes. Enjoy the powder!

A good selection of wide nice and uncrowded Green runs, with red and black runs higher up if you're game. Its easy to navigate between green runs on the lift system. The lift staff were having a snow sculpture competition while we were here, so it was fun spotting those around the mountain. The snow was excellent and soft to ski on. Escal plaza at the bottom is a nice place to defrost and grab some snacks/lunch. The top of the mountain connects to hakuba 47 (included on the lift pass) which opens up more mountain for more confident skiers.

What a great place to ski in Hakuba.

Get up early and hit the slopes for a fun day.

So much variety you will have to come back to ski all the terrain.

Couple of schools just by the slope if you need lessons or equipment rental. Nice spacious cafeteria there as well. Being new to skiing, we took a 8 person beginner ski class at 7000yen per pax from an aussie school. Trainer was OK but office staff was rude and 8 pax for 2 hrs leaves little time for each pax with the trainer. Especially if you're slower.
