Fabulous location overlooking the beach, lovely breeze from the ocean. Great service from new owner to be, friendly staff. Fresh juice was delicious. Coffee was not good, tasted very bitter maybe change your coffee beans, the grinder & coffee machine set up or the barista.
We will be back to try the coffee again as the position is really lovely.

This little café is right above the beach with a view to match the food. It is such a pity that the staff have not got their act together. Lunch mid week and the café was not busy so why can't the staff get the order right.
Overall, a nice place for a light lunch but a little pricey for what it is.

The cafe is right on Clovelly Beach, so the people watching is great. There are tables inside and out. The staff were lovely and the service was good. We thought it was a little expensive

Seasalt Café was the perfect spot for us to eat a casual lunch after walking a couple hours from Congee Beach. Overlooking Clovelly Beach and Bay, Seasalt was in a sunny, protected, north facing terrace just meters from the water. Our server was from the Czech Republic, and she did a fine job in making us feel at ease in spite of the crowds.

My two colleagues had classic fish and chips, and I can attest to the quality of their massive steak fries that they couldn’t finish. For my meal, I had the more exotic Kinkawooka mussels from South Australia poached in white wine and herbs served with organic seeded bread. It was delicious, but the portion was too tiny for my appetite – hence my endorsement of the steak fries.

My Lazy Yak lager was an excellent complement to the mussels.

In all, our bill was $26 AUD per person – a bit high for a lunch but given the location and timing (Saturday afternoon), it was surely appropriate as evident by the line of people trying to get tables.

The food was really something special. Ordered the chicken baguettes thinking they would be fairly standard fare, especially given the low price of them. Was rather pleasantly surprised when the food finally came out. It was amazing!! Full of flavour and not lacking in quantity either! So much so that it wouldn’t be out of place in many a fancier restaurant. The other meals we saw going out looked equally as good too.

Speed up the service a little and make it a bit friendly and this place really will be something special..
