“Solitude”
Reviewed 26 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Off the beaten track, Bramble Lane was a perfect ending to our Nova Scotia vacation. We had 3 wonderful night here. The ocean pounding on the rocks, the visiting deer, the basking seal all added to our stay. The cottage was clean, well serviced, and comfortable. If you want to get away from busy days, distractions, and city noises...this is the place to come.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Bramble Lane Cottage. It really is a wonderful spot to relax and recharge. For me, the view of the ocean is mesmerizing, and the stars at night are astounding. I am glad you had a good time.

“Great remote coastal Nova Scotia experience”
Reviewed 27 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Brilliant standard of accommodation and perfect value for money of $1300 per week given the location and peak Holiday Season. My friend and I loved the tranquil remote cottage experience. Great beach, firefly displays and vies of stars and Milky Way without light pollution by night. This was the main purpose of our trip and it is rare to be able to enjoy the Night Sky from the accommodation-usually we have to stay in town and drive out to a dark-sky location.

“Remote, Romantic, Secluded”
Reviewed 14 August 2013 for a stay in June 2013

A very attractive cottage in a special location if you like to get away and stay right on the ocean shore. The beach is cobble and not suitable for swimming, but the waves and water are hypnotic. Firewood is supplied and plentiful. The property is very large and there is not another cottage in sight. Johnsons Pond (within walking distance) provides a better beach and good surfing possibilities.

“A lovely peaceful and private getaway!”
Reviewed 2 August 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We enjoy the cottage so much we go every spring. Now it's like coming home when we go. It has everything you need except food and wine so bring lots as you are far from town. Tea on the deck in the morning while watching the waves and sitting around a fire at night are my favourite times. Or maybe it's soaking in the tub under the skylight or reading on the daybed with the sound of the ocean coming in through the windows. It is all so very peaceful and relaxing.

“Delightfully remote getaway”
Reviewed 24 July 2013 for a stay in August 2011

We fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the smell of salt air. A great place to truly get away and recharge our batteries.
