Location is fantastic with stunning views and a fine garden. Public rooms in the manor building are beautiful and well kept. But the sleeping rooms are horrible, stained and dirty carpets which weren't vaccumed during my stay. Freezing cold in the bathroom. Dirty bathtub.
No chair or table in the room. Just
one single bed and a bunkbed
crammed in. The wardrobe was a joke, and my clothes had to share it with the hoover( which was never used!).
The food was not what the Plas homepage promised, there was plenty of it, but salt beef and overcooked vegetables is not my idea of good food. And vegetarians beware! A glass of orange juice was often their only starter.
But the puddings were really, really good. And the gardens beautiful.
