“Very sweet little place , perfect for two.”

Really enjoyed our stay with one of the highlights being the walk from the cottage into Lyme which was beautiful. We hardly used the car and were able to unwind in the peaceful location.

Hi Lorraine - good to hear you enjoyed your stay and made the most of the riverside walk into Lyme along the East Devon Way. August has brought fabulous sunny weather this year and the sea has been incredibly blue. Hope you'll visit again some day. best wishes, Rose

I would like to come back to Little Roost, the cottage is perfect, beautifully restored,I would happily spend the week here.the garden in the sky is a bonus, unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to make much use of it.

“Lovely stone cottage in lovely position”
Reviewed 16 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Lovely welcome from Rosemary who provided us lovely treats awaiting us in the kitchen. Cottage has 1 room downstairs comprising kitchen/lounge/diner but surprisingly spacious. Upstairs via spiral open staircase a spacious bedroom and bathroom with fantastic shower you just don't want to get out of! Lovely comfortable bed and everything is beautifully clean and very pretty. The roof garden over the carport is a lovely place to sit. The East Devon Way is right outside the door and a 20 min walk to The Cobb in Lyme, much gentler walk than via road. Thank you Rosemary, we will return.

Good to hear you enjoyed your stay at Little Roost and took advantage of leaving the car behind for the lovely walk down into Lyme. So pleased you liked the roof garden - early summer plants and roses are really gorgeous at this time of year. Thanks again for your visit, best wishes , Rosemary H

“Ideal in every way”
Reviewed 15 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Little Roost was perfect for our needs, had everything, and we were charmed by the welcome and "light touch" from Rose, our host. I would suggest it's a real alternative to looking for a place in Lyme itself as Little Roost is quiet, has off -road private parking; yet is a short walk down to the beach front.

Many thanks for coming to stay and hope that you enjoyed your visits to the local vineyards. The sparkling white wines are proving popular around here and I must try out that local rose too! with best wishes, R
