My wife and I stayed at La Larguesa in April for a few nights before moving on to another part of the Aude. The owner Sally was so charming and welcoming and we were very impressed with the high standards of the furnishing and lovely décor throughout the house. We enjoyed a very generous breakfast and my wife was very grateful, as a Brit, for the availability of her favourite Marmite spread (as she doesn’t eat jam!) The house is fantastically located so that we could walk to various restaurants within just a few minutes. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to try out the Jacuzzi but it looks great! We can definitely recommend a stay here to anyone coming to Quillan.

My partner and I just returned from a wonderfully relaxing weekend in Quillan, made that bit more special by our stay at La Larguesa. The hotel is beautifully furnished, with huge comfy beds, a fantastic shower and quirky fabrics all set off by tons of natural light. If you're lucky with the weather, be prepared to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the garden, which has been designed like the rest of the hotel to encourage long, leisurely mornings/evenings over coffee/cocktails - in the sun/shade. Sally and her mother were perfect hosts, attending to our every need and educating us about the house and village they call home. Go as soon as you can!
