Shirley was a great guide and very accommodating with views for photos and looking after the young kids. The kids loved having the penguins walk under their legs while sitting still. Even with the cold wind, we could've stayed much longer. Would definitely recommend and do again.

We had a small group and got to walk down on the beach and see the penguins up close. Fabulous tour and so much better that the Phillip Island. Thanks Shirley for a wonderful experience .

We waited for at least 30 minutes before we saw some 30 penguins coming to shore. Well organised by the group to divide the attendees to smaller groups. All should have seen them that evening

This is a very personable tour. I think that day to day experiences would differ, however we got to have the penguins walk right past our feet. They were adorable. The guides were lovely and tolerant of our toddler who decided he'd had enough the penguins after around 10 minutes!

The tour involves walking through the sand so wear comfortable warm shoes. Jacket and wet weather gear because the tour is completely outdoors and it was quite windy the day we went.

Loved this visit to Low Head Penguin tours.
I had reservations about going on this tour as the penguin numbers are down in April, but it was really super. We were split into small groups and assigned to guides and taken to the beach to await the penguin arrival. At least 30 penguins suddenly appeared out of the waves onto the beach and gathered there in two groups waiting on stragglers coming out of the waves. We were then able to wait on the path and watch them at very close quarters waddling past looking for their burrows. Very entertaining and worthwhile. The guides lit the Penguins with an orange lamp which allowed for no flash photographs and videos.
