One of the best hotels in the world with spectacular views. The staff and the owners, Cecilia and Martin, make sure you have the best experience while staying at the hotel. First class service and amazing food. We took the cooking class and made our own empanadas, bread and specialty Mendoza chicken, we spend the afternoon at the spa having a wine bath and an amazing facial.
One of the best hotels with out a doubt, they really made us feel special! Coming back at least once a year.

we had the trip of our life. This is one of the best places in the world that we have visited. We had the ladies lunch and spa package with my daughter, celebrating her 20 birthday. We got treated like royalty in this place. I even don't have words to explain our experience. We got greeted with a glass of bonarda wine when we arrived. Since then my favorite wine is bonarda (and malbec after). We had a great food and wine (I believe 5 course accompanied with wine). Even the owner Cecilia came and talked to us. Everybody was super friendly and willing to help, and accommodate any needs you have. After we have the massage, the wine bath, with fresh juice and fruits. I cannot describe the feelings. That was a great experience that I highly recommend if you are in the area. If I visit Mendoza again, I will return to this place. Thank you to Cecilia, and to all the staff!!!

Everything about the Cavas Wine Lodge is amazing. The staff and owners are terrific, and go out of their way to make your visit amazing, easy, and as active or calm as you would like regarding activities, winery visits, etc. We stayed in the Vineyard Villa, which was lovely and spacious. We would love to return with our teenagers for another visit. 5 stars!

Came here based on the fabulous reviews and was completely blown away. We opted for the “wine and dine” package in which pretty much everything was inclusive (driver, trips to wineries, meals -except for alcoholic beverages); this is hands-down the way to go. We were pleasantly greeted upon our arrival in Mendoza airport by our driver, Valentin. Cavas had already arranged for a visit to two wineries that day, as our flight arrived mid-morning before our rooms were available. At the second winery, Cavas had arranged for a picnic lunch in the vineyard which was fabulous.
Upon arrival to Cavas lodge, we were greeted with a glass of wine and were given a full tour of the grounds by Ornella (she was amazing during our stay). An itinerary had been created by the concierge for our stay there and we were able to change things as needed. There was a tango show that evening followed by an asado dinner.
The 2nd day we went horseback riding with Aldana (who was absolutely awesome!) who took us to two different wineries for tastings. We had lunch at the second winery before heading back for dinner in our rooftop terrace with the outdoor fireplace.
Day 3 we arranged a trip to Aconcagua to do some hiking

Now about the lodge itself, this place is what it is because of the hardworking staff that they have. Anything you want, they will get it for you. Your wish is their command. The rooms are luxurious and spacious. There are no TVs, but there’s no reason to have it. Private plunge pool, outdoor and indoor showers, indoor and outdoor fireplace, soaking tub....

Bottom line, is it pricey? Yes. Will I come back? Absolutely. No trip to Mendoza is complete without a stay here. Bravo!

Pictures of the hotel are not just well taken, but do reflect reality. Staff was exceptionally well in speaking english (not to be taken for granted in Argentina!)
High flexibility in offering additional spa services not on the menu (manicure) - and very nice personnel. you will have your own little house with a pool and terrasse just to yourself! best spot for a sunrise!
And a few small details which made us feel very welcome: card with note of time of sunrise, very friendly and personal welcome by hotel owner during first breakfast, fresh grapes from the vines around the houses.
Thank you very much for the great time - great place to recharge your batteries!
