We arrived on our motorbikes after a very long day riding in not so wonderful weather. When you step through the doors the hotel feels like a hug. It was so inviting as were all the staff. The whole place has a charm that just makes you feel relaxed and the views over Loch Ewe are stunning. We had a super meal, a very comfy bed and lots of heat to dry out our very wet gear. The lovely gentleman on reception even took my husbands motorbike gloves and put them in the tumble dryer. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and a view over the Loch. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for one night on our NC500 tour and were very impressed. We received a very warm welcome and our room was very clean and comfortable with steps down to the bathroom which seemed strange but was actually fine. We had dinner in the bar and the food was excellent and my gluten free dietary requirements were catered for. Breakfast was great with lovely views across the water. We were given advice to visit a fabulous beach that wasn't on our list that we would have missed if we had not had local knowledge from the owners. Would highly recommend a stay here

Just spent a couple of nights here with my wife on our Scottish road trip and this is a great hotel in a great location. Our standard room was spacious and very clean. The hotel has a great loch side position so there are wonderful views to be had. The first night we ate in the tavern area and the second in the restaurant. Both nights meals were very good but the restaurant meal was special. The breakfast were also excellent. All staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

This is an old building recently renovated by Robin and his team. The Convoy bar is very welcoming with very interesting well cooked bar food. The Fat Whippet restaurant where you also have breakfast is a lovely very tastefully decorated room with superb fine dining and great breakfasts. Views out to sea are great and we certainly saw an otter whilst having dinner( binoculars supplied). We stayed in standard rooms having to change rooms due to miscommunication on my part about the need for a walk in shower. These rooms are certainly bijou and whereas I liked room 1 with its 2 windows and loch view, the shower room is weenie but adequate, room 5 is very small and dark and with my claustrophobia was not to my liking. It was obviously very popular as all other rooms were booked out. Robin and his partner are delightful and I wish them all the best and continued success.

Room Tip: Try to go for better than a standard room and not room 5
