Really traditional pub. Despite a 25 min wait for a sandwich it was delicious. Bacon and Brie on granary. V v fresh salad with lovely dressing. Shame I couldn’t eat outside but they didn’t have the staff to bring it out. Korev was lovely and cold.

Stopped by for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Lady behind bar was on her own, but very efficient. She was very polite and professional, and the service was seamless. Food very good. French onion soup delicious.
Nice traditional friendly pub.

Had to wait a while for a table but that was no problem as the food was good, Big portion of the Fish and Chips which was very tasty, Had to park right at the top of the hill and walk down but I guess this is normal as the place was busy.

Opens at 6:00 pm for dinner. Arrived at 6:00 pm on a Friday night and barely got a table! I had fish and chips and my wife had the chicken curry. Both were very good. Large portion of fish. Peas were good! They poured Korev on tap too! Service was fine.

We enjoyed visiting The Ship Inn, even in peak holiday season it was open for lunch and dinner separately so we had a stroll to the tiny harbour while we were waiting for opening time at 6pm. Probably best to book at peak times but there is a good mix of locals and tourists and the food is nice. Pint of Korev and the fish and chips were the top recommendations
