Genial and charming hosts together with a delightful and extremely well equipped cottage made 'The Old Stable' more of a home from home than a holiday let. Loved visiting St David's and also Tenby (Park Road Fish and Chips is a brilliant fish and chip shop as good as Rick Steins Fish and Chips in Cornwall but a lot cheaper) Saundersfoot is pretty and worth a visit. The Farmers Market at St Dogmaels on Wednesday was much enjoyed. There was an Abundance of local produce and well worth trying are the various salami's ...the laverbread salami was especially delicious as were the home made bread rolls which were made from flour ground at the nearby mill. Thank you Jacqui and Tom for making our stay such a memorable one... we will not hesitate to recommend you!

“Home from Home”
Reviewed 11 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

The cottage was excellently equipped with everything you could possibly need, and was spacious, comfortable and homely. All our needs were met by Tom and Jaqui, and nothing was too much trouble.
The outside space was also well proportioned with space to have a barbecue and relax. The one experience we did enjoy was the peace and tranquility especially at night when there was no traffic, aeroplanes or emergency vehicles, everywhere was peaceful for sleeping.
You are five miles to Fishguard for shopping etc, and about three quarters of an hour from Saundersfoot and Tenby or other large towns and the beaches are fantastic.
There is information regarding nearby amenities and if still unsure Tom and Jacqui will guide you.
We have been so satisfied, we have booked to come back before we left - We would say that completely covers how happy we have been at The Old Stable, oh before we forget the beds in the cottage were really comfortable.

Stayed here at the end of June 2013. Short drive to Cardigan, Newport, Fishguard, St Davids and Tenby/Saundersfoot. Great beaches nearby. Beautiful countryside and surrounding area. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet coastal break.
