We stayed her for a long weekend with 3 kids aged 7,5 and 1 at the end of September 2015. It is a lovely cottage and has everything you need - I actually think the kitchen has more utensils than my own! The cottage is well set up for kids and had a travel cot and highchair. The location is absolutely brilliant - right on the beach and a 5 minute walk into the village. brora is ideally situated near both distilleries and lovely beaches. Thank you to Sandi who phoned to check that everything was in order. We hope to be back again next year!
We had the most fantastic time at this wonderfully located seaside cottage , just yards from the beach with sea views from every single window , very spacious with everything you could possibly need in a holiday cottage , great beach walks on your doorstep , the seals on the beach are awesome , castles , waterfalls , hill climbs , fantastic golf courses are all within easy reach or just relax & take in the views..... so glad we chose brora for our holiday , looking forward to returning in future
Stayed at the cottage during July 2015. Excellent location and good accommodation. Everything we required was in the cottage and it is spacious with plenty living space and an enclosed garden perfect for kids and dogs. Brilliant location straight onto the beautiful beach. Excellent walks with fantastic views. Local food good at the golf course and Royal Marine Hotel which also has a pool and spa which you can use
Both within walking distance. Excellent horse riding at nearby Hollingwells Equestrian.
The cottage is located within easy reach of the beach and has great views out to sea and up the coast over the golf course.
Catch a train to Dunrobin Castle or Golspie and walk back along the beach, keeping company with the seals!
Comfortable accommodation with an open fire and plenty of room. Everything you need away from home.
We like this cottage so much that we've come back year after year, and are never disappointed in it. The cottage is roomy and comfortable, with all necessary amenities including Internet access and wi-fi, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. (They make our dog welcome, too! ) Brora is a nice large village, with a well-stocked Co-op to buy supplies in. But the very best thing about the cottage is the wonderful view over the sea and the lovely river-mouth. The sea is about 15 yards from the front door, and you can look over the Moray Firth in one direction, and right up the side of Scotland towards Caithness in the other direction. If you like looking at the sea, and at beautiful bare landscape, you'll like staying here.
