After having a great weekend went to the fisherman's joy pub for a drink, and fair play to the landlord she has had a bad deal, but she is fair and doing a great job to turn the fisherman's joy around, good luck to you both

Staying in a nearby campsite we were looking forward to to a meal out. After walking for approximately 1 mile into Selsey we were so disappointed to find all the restaurants closed. I remembered a pub that I had visited a year or more ago that served food, so we set off to find it. On arrival we were dismayed to be told they were only doing snacks due to the chef being ill & in hospital.
The Landlady said she could do us a sandwich or sausage, we had not had a meal & really wanted more than a sandwich. She then offered to cook us a homemade steak pie skinny chips & peas!!
Hey now your talking!
They were delicious & how kind of her to put herself out for two people.
Now that is what I call a great Landlady & pub! We were made to feel very welcome. Not only that, she gave us each a slice of chocolate cake - on the house! We would definitely go back.
Well done! Fishermans Joy Selsey!

The pub has recently had a manager put in! Heven help it! Hopefully they won't be there very long as the landlady is extremely rude!!! She has not idea what customer service is and her answer to everything is 'if you don't like it go somewhere else'!
Shame as it could be a really lovely place with the right people running it.
