“Just perfect !!”
Reviewed 18 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

The Old Dairy barn is in a great location, so peaceful, a great place to relax and recharge the batteries, on arrival we were warmly met by Alicia, Nathan and bean the dog and a plate of home made brownies !! the cottage was immaculate, fully equipped, with a fantastic woodburner, a welcomed addition on a chilly evening. We were only a short drive from Newquay, where there were plenty of places to eat, The Penwig serves good pub grub and the fish and chips from the Limecrab was the best we've had !! Nearby was Cwmtddu beach which had great coastal walks, with fabulous views. We can't recommended this cottage enough !! Can't wait to return.

“Lovely organic farm near Welsh coastline”
Reviewed 23 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

This is a beautifully converted barn, on an organic working farm, situated in a tiny village in lovely countryside near to New Quay. It is close to a beach where I saw a seal with new pups (warning signs tell you not to go too close to the seals in this case). The 'coastal path' joins up all the beaches in this area and is a joy to walk. Alicia and Nathan who run the farm are warm and welcoming, but will leave you in peace if that's what you want! If you ask nicely I'm sure they would be happy to give you a bit of a guided tour. They have a small farm shop where you can buy their produce (in small amounts if you like). The chickens came and said hello to us every morning. Ready prepared meals are also available. There is no Wi-Fi (and very poor phone signal in this area), but if you really need to 'log on' I think you would be welcome to at the farm house. The farm also runs courses in organic farming. Staying here was delightful - a little slice of heaven.

“A haven of peace and comfort”
Reviewed 22 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We spent a week at the Old Dairy in August. It is so peaceful, a place where you can really get away from the speed of normal life and relax. It is a very comfortable and well-appointed cottage, lovely to come back to at the end of the day. We wanted a central point in order to visit the many lovely coastal villages/towns along the Ceredigion coast (Newquay, Llangrannog, Penbryn, Tresaith, Mwnt, Aberportth, Aberaeron - all worth a visit) and found the Old Dairy ideal.

“Calm, comfortable and welcoming cottage”
Reviewed 19 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Warmly welcomed on arrival by Alicia, Nathan, Bean and the chickens. Really liked the open living space, simple but stylish furnishings and the feel of seclusion and being in the countryside that the cottage and farm provides. I appreciated the quality and comfort of the cottage.
The area is a must for woodland and coastal lovers like me, great walking, bird watching and wildlife opportunities. The little beach at Cwmtydu gives access to the coastal path, the daily Cardi Bach bus is great for leaving the car behind.
I was able to access the internet at the local pub, The Crown, even though it has limited opening hours.

“Fantastic property ... great hosts”
Reviewed 15 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We couldn't recommend this property more highly. It is in a great location, a quiet spot, within walking distance of a lovely little beach and access to the coastal path. The property is really comfortable and bright, with good facilities and your own little outdoor seating area. We particularly enjoyed the fantastic shower!

It was lovely to be able to stroll around the farm and see what was going on - we really admired our hosts commitment to a sustainable lifestyle. They were fantastic hosts - very friendly and warm and couldn't have been more accommodating to our needs.

We hadn't been to this part of Wales before and were so pleased we had chosen The Old Dairy as our base to explore the stunning coastline and countryside. We will definitely make a return visit!
