Our last night in Iceland - we were soooo tired of tourist places and tourists ( although we are tourists too) we wanted to find something local. We checked out our apartment directory and found this place listed as nearby.
It was... and it was somewhat out of the way off the regular beat which is what we wanted.
The pizza is great and the Fish and Chips beat the best places on the tour circle. In fact the best pizza I have eaten including the USA. The servings are "Texas-size" which we found unusual in Iceland and the high price you pay here does not feel like the rip-off everywhere else.
The staff was super friendly and ever so helpful in helping us understand the menu which did not have English translations. The patrons were locals, older folks, families with tots, and teenagers just hanging out on a Friday night. It was so cool to see locals just doing their thing.
The ice cream is to die for and I am only sorry we found this on the last day we were there, because this is a definite go-back.
