We've stay for 2 nights at Liz & Alan B&B and it was simply great!
Liz & Alan are both very nice, they welcome us with a cup of tea, help us to find restaurants in the area, recommend places to visit and found us the updated information in the internet.
The breakfast was the best we had in all our trip - Liz simply put on the table all she has in the kitchen - fresh vegetables, juices, jams & honey, fresh croissant and other freshly baked pastries from the local patisserie, cereals, a selection of cheeses, yogurts, and she made us an omelette.
By far it was the best cost-benefit ratio and one of the nicest B&B we've ever visit!!!
A nice bonus is that LIz & Alan are originally British so they speak perfect English and it surely help to get lots of advise from them.

We spent a week at the La Beauficerie in Hambye, Normandy, and it was superb and convenient. Liz and Alan, the British expats who run it, are professionals, always helpful and very service oriented. The B and B is very conveniently located -- easy drive to Mont St. Michel, the invasion beaches, the Contintin Peninsula, Caen, etc. It's a bit far from Rouen, Honfleur, and Giverny. The breakfasts were sumptuous. Liz and Alan seem to specialize in families. But they have two-bedded rooms as well. Their B and B is set in an apple orchard. It's a totally renovated farm house -- all of the modern amenities. We paid 385 E for 7 nights. A bargain. You can pay more to be closer to one of the many Normandy destinations but then you're further away from others. The Beauficery is convenient to most of them. We give it our highest recommendation -- this coming from travelers who have visited 65 countries.

This B&B has everything you need for a successful holiday: friendly, helpful and generous hosts (who speak English and help you find your way!), beautifully remodeled and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, common living area to explore, fabulous and generous breakfasts (the hosts get to know wnat you like and make sure to provide it), and a beautiful farm setting with apple orchards, horses and dogs. Our children had a wonderful time and improved their billiards game! And the night quiet is amazing. This is a great value for the money.

My boyfriend and I stayed with my uncle at La Beauficerie for a weekend while visiting Normandy. Liz and Alan are wonderful people who make you feel very welcome.
The home is clean and well kept and the ponies really add a special touch. This is
a perfect place for families. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for one night with our two year old daughter. Alan and Liz were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was large, airy and spotless. Alan and Liz were very accomodating with our little girl and provided various sorts of useful extras for her like a little bath and a travel cot. We had to leave early in the morning so didn't have breakfast but Alan and Liz provided us with a kitchen full of goodies to help ourselves to. The location is a little off the beaten track, but worth a visit as the air is clear and the stars at night were breath taking. Very good value too.
