There is one main lodge with a kitchen and bar where you can socialize with the owners of the lodge and other travelers, if you want to. The cabins are completely private and all overlook a small creek/pond that is full of brook trout. A great place to go if you're looking to get off the grid for a while.

3 days at Eckardt’s Tecumseh Resort was a perfect fishing trip. Be aware that this is not some kind of luxury resort, but the all round care and attention that Kai takes to make your stay a total pleasure makes this a first class experience. The cabins are rather rustic but very clean, comfortable and warm. Kai was good enough to cook breakfast and supper for the 4 of us each day and these were real feasts. Both Kai and Max are amazing guides – they know the beautiful rivers intimately, they are patient, knowledgeable and great fun. I highly recommend the Resort and I would certainly consider returning in the future.

If you're looking for a no frills rustic getaway, then this is the place. As long as those are your expectations and criteria, you'll enjoy the experience. Just don't look for much more.
The accommodations are a series of duplex style log cabins that consist of units with one bedroom, a 2 1/2 piece bathroom, and a common area with a futon style couch, a table and chairs, and a kitchenette with a small bar fridge, sink and two burner stove. Each unit also has a small deck on the back, overlooking a small pond.
The units are rustic to a fault. Everything is log; the bed frame, the light fixtures, etc., and the cabins are clean, but not clean clean - you'll definitely get the feeling you're in a back country cabin. There are dishes and cutlery provided, of various types and sorts, as well as cookware, but if you're serious about cooking there, bring your own pots and pans, as theirs are pretty shop worn. They also provide the use of a barbecue at the main house, but again, bring your own utensils, as theirs are well used and less than pristine.
The main house has a restaurant, but it was closed, as they were "between chefs", and the lounge area, billed as full of antiques, was certainly that - to the point of feeling cluttered, but in the fall or winter, I could see it being kind of fun.
I would almost like to give this place a very good instead of average, and would likely have done so if a few of the rough edges were taken off of the place; a bit tidier, and a bit more finished - more than one coffee mug, and more than 3 spoons - that kind of thing. However, to have a quiet getaway, at the peak of summer, at their price point, there's nothing here that would prevent me from going back, and I could easily see myself doing so.
