My family and I booked to go to the Vobster Inn on Christmas Day 2011. The food and service was very good. Some of our group thought service was slow, but we were not in a hurry so it didn’t matter. The quality of the food was very good. There was a good atmosphere, although the Christmas music was so quiet that you couldn’t hardly hear it. We were seated in a nice part of the pub next to a Christmas tree and near to an open fire. A table quiz was provided, which was good fun. The table was nicely decorated with crackers and chocolates, etc. I would definitely recommend the Vobster Inn for Christmas day and will hopefully get to visit at some point in 2012.

We stayed for wo nights visiting relatives nearby, it was good to get away from them and back to our large room. We stayed in bedroom one which had a good view, it is more of a suite really with flat screen tv and large sofa. A comfortable large bed. Good beer and wine in the pub / restaurant downstairs. The choices in the restaurant suited our modest pocket so we had all three coarses. We will be back, without telling those relatives.

Stayed at this delightful place for two nights. Our bedroom was spacious and spotlessly clean and the warm welcome we received from the owners Raf and Peta was second to none. Dinner was of very high quality and my Pork Belly was fantastically well cooked and very tasty. Breakfast on both mornings was delicious. I highly recommend The Vobster Inn, keep up the excellent work!!!!
