“Perfect gite in foodie paradise!”
Reviewed 18 September 2011 for a stay in July 2011

We were not that familiar with this area of France, but really liked the look of this Gite. Although we found the gite a little hard to find, it was well worth the effort!!

The gite is 3 stories, well furnished with lots of character and it is extremely clean! It is set amongst the beautiful farm lands of the midi pyrenees, and we enjoyed morning walks around the area and picking wild blackberries along the road. Lynn and Gary's free range eggs were beautiful, especially paired with local produce from the markets.

Lynn and Gary provided us with a folder full of information regarding the local markets, restaurants, sites of interest and walking trails. We basically planned our week around this information and found all of the recommendations oustanding. The markets at St Anton and Ville Franche were a foodies paradise! There were also many small villages scattered around the area with fantastic food and within easy driving range. We fell in love with the local duck products, especially the foie gras!

We loved staying here and wished we could have stayed for longer! Our only disappointment was having our lovely duck terinnes and pate taken from us as we left France at the Toulousse airport! I guess we'll have to come back for more!
