Was disappointed with this one, thought it was going to be great but it just didn't hit the mark. Started off with a gorgeous kir in a fancy glass, yummy, and a gorgeous black olive tapenade. All good so far...
Two of us opted for the 3 course menu but neither of us liked the asparagus gazpacho starter which was way too creamy/milky. The main fish was good but very salty. Dessert was a chocolate financier, a little greasy but I liked it although the others in the party not quite so much. We all felt the cooking was almost there but just not quite.
Was disappointed overall as I had high hopes for a lovely meal in a restaurant with a good atmosphere as we had tried to go earlier in the week but it was full. We booked for a Friday and we were the first there at 8 followed by only one other table of 2!
I would try it again but would definitely choose more carefully next time.
