This was our first travel together to Italy. We found the place very tranquil and calming. Strangely but beautifully, a lot of wildlife on the island of Albarella co-exists with the first-class amenities, like fantastic restaurants, and the golf club. The island is very family friendly.
The property had good Internet access, so we searched for everything we needed in Venice well in advance. The reception of Immobiliare Lanca helped us a lot, including transfer.
The villa is on the northern part of the island, literally within minutes of the beach and sunbathing place, opening fantastic view to the delta of the Po river.
We, however, preferred to take our breaks in the garden, filled with flowers, figs, mulberries and olive trees. Italians know a thing or two about the coffee, and since we had a fully furnished contemporary Italian kitchen at our disposal, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Although it was a little bit early for full scale swimming in the end of May, I enjoyed the pool in the evenings, and found it very stimulating.
All of the shopping was local, but if you want to save some euros, you may better visit large stores nearby at Rosolina, instead of buying on the island.
We really enjoyed walking at this beautiful place, it was so sensual.
