The apartment was nicely furnished with large balcony overlooking the sea which was lovely. The pool was good with plenty of sunbeds and brollys and lifeguard on the premises as the pool is large which I enjoyed but not really suitable for non-swimmers as shallow end was up to my shoulders (I am only 5ft.2ins.)
Restaurants nearby were good but limited although we spent a fair amount of time in the Tapas bar downstairs where Carlos and his staff were very welcoming and the food was good and very reasonable prices.
Would not recommend this location for elderly as to go into Alicante there was a very steep hill to negotiate to get to trams or buses. Alicante is a lovely city and well worth a visit or two. Taxis are cheap and easy to get as an alternative to trogging up the hill!
The downside of the apartment itself was the lack of towels and bed linen. We were there for ten days and had no change of bed linen and were given one bath towel each and one hand towel in en-suite plus one hand towel in main bathroom shared by two people!! Fortunately there was a washing machine but not really very satisfactory having to was your own towels etc. We also had to buy our own mugs as kitchen was well equipped apart from the tiny cups and saucers provided which were very pretty but not very practical!! Some information about local restaurants and transport options, which we had to find out for ourselves, would be very useful.
Despite all this we had a great holiday with lovely weather and good company.
