We stayed for a night in September as we were doing the Camino. It is a small boutique hotel situated in the beautiful Galician countryside just less than half an hour from Santiago. It is run by Bruno and his wife with a minimum staff. The building and garden are beautiful, the service friendly and the room extremely comfortable. Bruno will pick you up from nearby Arzua and take back to town when you leave. A place to feel at peace with yourself and with the world. I cannot recommend it more strongly.

This hotel is an absolute gem. We stayed here during our walk on the Camino De Santiago and it was a real highlight of the trip. Bruno and his staff couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive. The food was probably the best we had on our trip. Simple, home-cooked food, with quality ingredients. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Hotel Lar da Mota end May as Peligrinos. From our pick-up in Arzua to our return there our experience was 5' Star all the way. The accommodation was very comfortable, food to die for - homemade and cooked to order, and with a smile. We were offered local aperitifs after dinner which was a nice touch. Breakfast included home-made yoghurt sweetened with local honey, we can still taste it now.
We will be staying here again. Wonderful experience.

Room tip: Very comfortable bed, with crisp cotton sheets, shower great. Very welcome after long walk

We stayed here as part of our Camino trip. It's 10kmfrom azura but the owners collect and drop you from the trail! It's a sanctuary peacefulness and amazing food. The rooms are perfect and the liquor is very tasty! It's well worth the divergence from the main trail and well worth the price. It is an incredible bargain for the price paid and my only regret is not being able to stay here longer

Absolutely gorgeous place. A river runs through it. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom, relaxing ambiance, totally chilled out here and just stunning decor, very clean. Brought home a lovely bottle of Bruno's cafe liquor and will talk for a long time about this little gem of a place. Hope to go back some day.
