I was travelling with my wife, where, we suddenly decided to stay at a transit hotel once we arrived to the Malpensa Airport and booked Airport Hotel Malpensa through booking.com. It cost us 30 Euros to go to the hotel from the airport by taxi, which was way too expensive. It is better to get a shuttle arranged by the hotel from the airport, rather than taking a taxi since it is much cheaper. However, If you have a rented car, this is a ideal place for a night stay to get refreshed before starting your journey. Check-in process was easy and quick where, the hotel staff was helpful, friendly and speaks English. The room was small yet cosy, clean, warm and all the essential amenities were there with a private bathroom which was nice and clean with hot water. The breakfast was also included in our package, where the lady at the bar was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was simple yet good. If you travel by train it is necessary to go back to Malpensa Airport to catch the train to Milan Central Station. The hotel staff arranged us an Airport shuttle service to the Malpensa Airport at a price of 11 Euros and the driver was also friendly and helpful and speaks English, so you can ask for necessary information.
