Well what can I say! I stayed here in October 2016 and again in March this year. I loved every minute of it, so easy to get to Oxford with a free all day parking in Witney or you can drive to a village nearer to Oxford and jump on a bus if you prefer - I did both. The museums in Oxford are excellent, I think I have spent 4 days there in total over the two visits, there is so much to do. Excellent walks by the Uni along the river as well. Witney has lots of little shops to mooch as well as a Waitrose, gets my vote!
Also very easy to get to the Cotswolds - Bourton on the Water, Broadway, Upper and Lower Slaughter etc, I did them all. I left my partner at home caring for my parents yet I felt totally safe staying here. The owners are lovely, helpful and chatty but not intrusive despite living on site. Love the little Jack Russells that roam around the yard, Millie came to say hello on a regular basis. The accommodation is comfortable and well designed, I was able to carry on my self employed job using the wifi so it suits me down to the ground.
Do go to the Cotswold Wildlife park, great day out for children and adults alike. Crocodile World was also fascinating and just 10 minutes away. We have a week off together in September but sadly we have 2 dogs otherwise we would be banging the door down because we cannot find anywhere decent to stay!
Nutchat is a delightful cottage, beautifully situated for exploring the Cotswolds. It's historic yet totally updated, with a super kitchen and bath. The patio area is perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The wifi and TV are good, and the decor is lovely.
The owner's families live in the barn complex, along with children, 3 horses and a variety of chickens and ducks.
Who could ask for more? I recommend Nutchat Barn wholeheartedly.
Accommodation was lovely, the views were fantastic and the whole complex was amazing. Very good position for the area.
Fantastic accommodation and professionally ran, immaculate and modern conversion decorated and maintained to a high standard.
Highly recommended and as we move into Spring the experience can only get better as I imagine it can only be more stunning in the coming warmer months.
