The bungalow was cold when we arrived, but the heaters were on. Due to the time of year we spent a lot of money on electric. However we had a lovely week and being in walking distance to the beach was a bonus.

To clarify you had put £30.00 in the electric meter and you left it full. That's about £10.00 still in the meter. As the house is all electric that is an average amount for a winter stay. We filled the meter with money before you arrived and put the heaters on to warm it. If you arrive just after we finish cleaning it may not have had time to warm up apologies for that.

Future guests should appreciate the house is all electric and electricity is by way of a £ meter in the hall cupboard, we fill the meter (£10.00) before you arrive but you will need to put about £20 to £30.00 in. You are not expected to fill the meter before you leave. Hope that clarifies the situation for future guests.

Unfortunately our gardener has let us down this year on numerous occasions and we are going to have to get someone else.

Sorry to say you will never please everyone and as we do the cleaning ourselves all I can only say it was clean. The guest who has left this review is not welcome to return. But I guess they would not wish to any way.

Lovely location, inside clean and tidy.
Minor issues... Patio and bbq full of weeds.
No recycling bags and would recommend replacing kitchen pans. Otherwise a lovely time spent in Aberporth

Thanks for the input. We had requested the Gardner sort the patio out but unfortunately he let us down very sorry about that. We will replace the pots and pans. Glad you had a good stay.

“Great bungalow, fully equipped, good location!!!”

This lovely bungalow sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms. It has a spacious living room, bath, kitchen, massive back garden and front yard with parking space for 1.

It is situated 10 minutes walk (2 minutes drive) from Aberporth Beach or 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive from Tresaith Beach. It's 20 minutes drive to Llangrannog Beach or Mwnt Beach in the opposite direction. Newquay for dolphin boat trips is 30 minutes away.

Lots of beaches nearby and the weather despite it being end of October was lovely for beach hopping! Cardigan is 15 minutes away and has a Tesco and Aldi and further into the town other shops.

From the enquiry stage until even after our visit was complete our hosts Derek & Catherine answered all my questions expeditiously. I was provided with an overview of the area in terms of amenities.

When we arrived there was a minor issue but Derek was there within 15 minutes of notification to resolve the issue. He didn't have to but he provided a goodwill gesture, which was unexpected, generous and much appreciated.

We extended our stay by a night thanks to our hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the lovely coastal waters and paths. The bungalow was home away from home and we will definitely be back.

“Excellent position, lovely little bungalow in a very nice village”

We had a great holiday in this bungalow, It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac off the main streets and very handy for the shops and restaurants in the village.
It is quite well appointed and the bungalow was clean and tidy when we arrived, there were 5 people in our party and the place was spacious enough for all.
Aberporth has a great beach and a lot of activities for the young ones but is also a great base from which to explore the surrounding area.
The only criticisms I have (and they are very small) are that it could do with an extra dining chair (sleeps five but only 4 dining chairs) as sitting on a stool to eat is ok for a short time but hard on the posterior after a while, The door lock could do with some oil on it and there was only 1 recycling bag.
So apart from these trivial things, I would recommend Hafan Y Mor to anyone.
